The day faith arrived |

FAITH CAME
"But before faith came, we were kept in custody under the law, being shut up to the faith which was later to be revealed." Gal 3:23
Faith arrived when Jesus arrived.
He "revealed" a Father we could trust, a Father we could believe in.
"Therefore the Law has become our tutor to lead us to Christ, so that we may be justified by faith. But now that faith has come, we are no longer under a tutor." Gal 3:24,25
"Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good testimony." Heb 11:1,2
For "the elders", faith was something they "hoped for" but couldn't clearly see. They saw afar off, foreshadowings and veiled glory.
Faith is no longer things hoped for, things not seen.
Faith has come.
Now faith is "the substance". Now faith is "the evidence".
Jesus is the substance, the evidence of the Father's love and faithfulness. _________________ I'm not saved because I'm good. I'm saved because He's good!
