| I've been trying to get information about The Block Church which started in Edwardsville, IL as a split from the Bethalto Church of God (Illinois) for several days. I had recommended the church to a friend whose son is in college at SIU-Edwardsville and he contacted me a few days ago saying they could not find any info on the church. I began looking into it and sure enough, their website and Facebook page is gone. I contacted a friend who pastors an independent church in the area and was told they heard there had been a "blow up" and that the pastor was gone, but they knew nothing else. From my understanding, they had nearly 200 people, so for it to just be "gone" seems far fetched. Anyone have any info if the church is still there? |
