I'm starting an intermittent fasting regimen as part of my new year weight loss and fitness plan.
I hadn't remembered that I could put a spiritual spin on it until this thread, so thanks for that.  |

If you do, make sure you maximize the impact by letting everyone in your social media circle know you’re fasting. |

I heard a preacher tell a story about fasting. He imitated someone he'd had a conversation with. The other guy leans over weakly, sighs, and says,
"I've been fasting.....Pressing in to the Lord with praying and fasting."
"What kind of fast are you doing?"
"I've been fasting chocolate."
He said it was a true story.
