 How to fix the Church of God. |

Last night Bro Kenny Morris preached at our Camp Meeting a message entitled "God's Candle".
If ever the nail was hit on the head it was last night.
With so many churches closing, I am convinced this message will encourage pastors and pew folk alike.

The title of this post is so condescending and is really not becoming. I was in service last week in a COG church that has seen over 100 people saved this year and has increased over 200 people in the last 3 years. I am not sure that they need someone to "fix" them.  |

How about fixing those who preach holiness that ignore their temple? Maybe we could fix them too. I meant, if we’re gonna fix things in how we think they ought to be, we all have a hobby horse. 😂 |

| One church's success does not negate the fact that there are some problems in the COG. I've not had a chance to listen to the message yet, but I will BEFORE trying to kill the messenger. |

I am a product of the Church of God movement.
My congregation (especially myself) needed this message as much as anyone.
I encourage the "overseer" to listen before jumping to conclusions.

That is fine and I’m sure that it is a good message. My issue is with the heading of your original post. It seems as if every post you make is some bitter statement against the Church of God system. We get it. You were “done wrongâ€, you went independent, and you’re doing great outside the Church of God. Congratulations! We celebrate with you. To come on here and post a sermon and use the heading, “How to fix the Church of God†is condescending and pompous. |

I listened to most of the message. I think your missing the point. It has nothing to do with the sermon that you posted. If you don’t get it, I’m not sure that I could explain it. |

The fix is the Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit fixed us.
