Along with the idiocy of the Beulah character it is why Actscelerate has so disintegrated to the level of only random reality and substance. Now, most lurk on occasion, some respond on occasion but most avoid with regularity. How fondly we remember the years between 04-08 when the dialogue was at it's highest, the quality at it's purest, the exchange at it's healthiest.
We've never had a funeral for that era but it is as dead as Elvis.

You are right, this forum is dead. But I'll say this, OTCP and Beulah aren't the only killers. Yes, it IS disappointing to log on, only to find another thread about the latest recipient of an Honorary Doctorate. But its equally disappointing to log on, only to find another thread addressing the "grace issue". Or a thread telling us about the latest preacher who left the ministry. Or a thread attacking a mega-church, that doesn't do things the way "it should be done".
I honestly can't remember the last meaningful thread I participated in here.

I at one time I checked this place daily. It was a good place to present and discuss biblical interests but ...I'm with Phil. I stop by every 2-3 weeks with a quick perusal and find it is overrun with non-sense posts. Right again Phil. |
