Rotten, man.
You didn't have to do that to Tim, nor many of the other things you hide behind your own personal cloak of maliciousness. I'm sure I'd like you in person. But I don't really care for what you do as OTCP. |
I love you too, Aaron.
The sentiment of the question in the OP appeared to be anti-COG/anti-GA/what does it matter anyway. For anybody who is no longer COG, it appeared to be even more of a sarcastic scathing remark. I only asked Tim why it was of interest to him if he has willingly chosen to leave the COG.
Now on the woffie stuff, I did not, do not, an never will understand at.
I got no beef with Tim personally, I don't even know him, but if folk posts on Acts its just like Fox News, we gotta keep it fair an balanced. Which means for ever promotion of error, they is gonna be a post of exegesis. You know, to balance it out. |

First-I would rather be called Word of Faith than Word of doubt church.
Second- Just because children leaves home does not mean they no longer care about what is going on with the family. Get over yourselves LOL I left an independent church 25 years ago and joined the COG but I still care about my home church. The
Now to answer the question. Nothing major last Assembly, but much has effected over the years. Like who we can credential, who can serve on church boards.etc Personally a change that took place 20 years ago at GA majorly effected me. I probably would not still be COG without that change. Most Assembly agendas only have a couple items that make much difference. And they have to fail 2-3 times before they finally past. Lol Not that it effects my ministry but a positive change from the last assembly was the outcry to let house keeping yitems be handled by the council of 18 as to not consume the GA agenda. I thought is was funny this year people are complaining about a smaller agenda. It would not be any different than years before if it was full of housekeep junk. _________________ DOW MOSES |

Moses, thanks fer respondin. The pro-woffies on this board coined the "word of doubt" moniker. Rejectin Kenyon/Hagin/Copeland/WOF doctrine is in no way word of doubt. It is correctly interpretin the good Book. Son, we bleeve in faith, healin, provision, victory, hope, confidence, an all the good Book sets forth. Aint no doubt in it. Hyper-WoF doctrine is blatant error. |

Tim if you will look beside my name you will see the word "moderator". For what ever that is worth let me say, you are most definately welcome on ACTSCELERATE.
I apologize for the remarks of OTCP. He hates anything or anyone that has to do with Word of Faith. He will deny hating anyone but simply read his remarks and you will see what I mean.
Please feel free to post as much as you wish on this board. Ignore the good Dr. OTCP. As a WOF minister you are his enemy so what difference does it make what he post or thinks.
Again Welcome Brother Tim and blessings to you and your church. Keep preaching Faith. I need more. _________________ Recorded Sermons @ www.pastorwiley.com

The purpose of General Assembly is intended to change the way you minister |
Looking For Friends |
General Assembly is the governing body of the Church of God.
We gather to worship and discuss matters of importance to the denomination in the USA and around the world.
If you are looking for a change in ministry, be there on Monday for the leadership training track. At the last General Assembly it certainly helped me in communicating with my congregation. |

Tim, JL is apparently off his meds today. OTCP has no docterate. I don't hate you. I don't hate any WOF person. I don't hate Copeland. I do not agree with his theology and believe it to be extremely dangerous. I believe certain components of his theology are cultic (as in Mind Science). Hey, I don't hate the Dalai Lama, but I don't wanna be his ministry partner. |
