It seems the goal is to use animals to grow human organs for harvest and transplant. It would be a new step in dominion of man in the animal kingdom.
I suppose those who believe that we are no better than animals (PETA) would have the greater concern. |

The potential for abuse is worrisome, but as stated, growing an ear or nose on the back of a rat sounds like a good thing to me. I think I would require further study of the implications. Certainly "human-animal hybrids" would be disgusting and frightening, but I've seen a little about this before and its pretty much a rat with an ear growing on its back. I don't think that would be a threat. I'm not even sure if the thing could reproduce, but I guess if it could reproduce and give rise to millions of human-ears on the backs of mice, then that would be troublesome. |

Of course not! Can you cite where the article lists the source of the stem cells since I can't find it? There are other sources of stem-cells, but if they are using aborted humans, then I pray for their failure. |

Absolutely no!!!
I read somewhere that the best stem cells come from the afterbirth...umbilical cord etc. |
