JUDGING THE BODY RIGHTLY - HOW TO TAKE THE LORD'S SUPPER

We WERE His body crucified. We ARE His body glorified.

1 Corinthians 10 - His body crucified.

Since there is one bread, we who are many are one body; for we all partake of the one bread. 1 Cor. 10:17

We were His body crucified.
Remember that when you take the Lord's Supper. We were crucified with Christ. We were that broken body, that broken bread.

He took our judgment, the judgment of the whole world on Himself. Jn 12:31,32

1 Corinthians 11 Judge that and remember that.

For he who eats and drinks, eats and drinks judgment to himself if he does not judge the body rightly. 1 Cor. 11:29

Eat and drink together, judging that we were and are all in His body together. It's not just about you (your sin or your judgment), it's about "us" (the sin and judgment of the world).

He took all our judgment so none of us would be judged.

So then, my brethren, when you come together to eat, wait for one another. 1 Cor. 11:33

Don't eat like its just about you. Eat like a body. Eat together. Eat as one.
Celebrate and remember the Lord's death with a "body" mindset. Remembering that we were that "one bread", He drew all men to Himself at the cross and tasted death for every man.

When you "judge the body rightly", when you believe that we were all in Him together at the breaking of His body, that He took all our judgment, you do not come into judgment. Jn 5:24
Let your eating and drinking show your faith in the sacrifice that removed judgment, not your unbelief that leaves you judged.

He who believes in Him is not judged; he who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. Jn 3:18

1 Corinthians 12 His body glorified.

Now you are Christ’s body, and individually members of it. 1 Cor. 12:27

We are His body glorified.
We are hidden with Christ in God, seated with Him in Heavenly places.
