| I just got home from the viewing in Austell, GA. Many of you remember the Swilley Family in revivals back in the day and their marriage workshops in their later years. They have been my friends all of my life as my Dad would have them at our church about once a year. Wallace was also the state youth director in Georgia in the 60s. A great man has gone home! |

| They just about alternated with Sammy Hall doing Teen Camps in Michigan when I was but a youth! Later they did a marriage retreat for pastors and their wives in Grand Rapids at the Amway Grand. Really the best one of those gatherings I’ve ever experienced. The Swilleys made their mark on the hearts of the CoG folks all across Michigan in the 70’s - 80’s. I love them all![/i] |
