Jesus accomplished the sanctification, the redemption, the forgiveness, the reconciliation and justification of the entire world at the cross.
He took upon Himself, propitiated for and put away the sins of the world and abolished the Law system that was reviving, empowering, increasing and giving opportunity to sin and ministering wrath, condemnation, curses and death to the world.
Jesus made it true about every man, that he is clean, holy, sanctified, redeemed, reconciled, forgiven, blessed and justified. He gave us something to believe - the truth.
When we hear and believe this good news, it saves us, it produces eternal life in us. We are born from this Word of Christ, this word of reconciliation, this Gospel, this truth, this incorruptible seed.
When we reject this good news, when we do not believe it, we experience the death that results from trying to find life apart from God.
