Here Goes:
Assembly Days
Remember the good days yesteryear
Shouting saints and motions so clear
Handshakes and secret meetings near
Broken gavels, buns so high
Strangers all wondering as they pass by
Could it be these days are lost
Time for a changing of the guards
Who will carry the flame for the future
Students oblivious as they sing and play
These are the days of assembly
A season of hope and of promises
Bishops and Generals past thought of |

Jan Ross |
A promise of grace
Salvation, mercy, and peace
Through Jesus our Lord
His blood flows freely
Calvary’s fresh cleansing stream
Love grows where blood flows
Sinners cleansed, made whole
Purified and sanctified
By His blood atoned
Spread the word to all
North and South and East and West
Jesus is THE way
Any other god
Can't do what our God has done
There is no one else
No other subject
Inspires me to write Haiku
