CAN YOU TASTE THE MILK AND HONEY?
“Then it shall come about when the Lord your God brings you into the land which He swore to your fathers, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, to give you, great and splendid cities which you did not build, and houses full of all good things which you did not fill, and hewn cisterns which you did not dig, vineyards and olive trees which you did not plant, and you eat and are satisfied," Deut 6:10,11
What does the promised land called "rest" look like?
Cities "you did not build".
Houses "you did not fill".
Cisterns "you did not dig".
Vineyards and trees "you did not plant".
You get to enjoy another Man's work.
Jesus finished the work.
Enjoy the "great and splendid", "all good things" so you can "eat" and be "satisfied".
He doesn't want you hungry and working.
He wants you "satisfied" and at rest.
Jesus is our promised land called rest.
In Him all of God's promises are "yes". 2 Cor. 1:20
In Him we receive "rest". Mat. 11:28
Drop your shovel.
Drop your hammer.
Believe that He finished the work of redemption, blessing, healing, life and miracles.
Believe that you are seated at rest with him right now. Eph. 2:4-6
"For the one who has entered His rest has himself also rested from his works, as God did from His." Heb. 4:10
Faith tastes the milk and honey of all the Christ accomplished.
