I'm hearing that incredible harmony exists among the Executive Committee since the last General Assembly. Each member should be
commended for contributing their unique gifts in a corporate way to further the work of God's Kingdom.

Since I'm way out of the loop in terms of exposure to these elected leaders, with all due respect I ask, has there been a time when they didn't get along or didn't see eye to eye?
My question is framed as in a historical context because your words said they've experienced harmony since the last GA.

What kind of statement is this?

Maybe it's good - maybe it isn't.

If you get a leader and 4 yes men - that could be the cause for unity also.

I haven't talked to any of the 5 men selected - so I have no idea.

When they get that unity out into the field - when the large churches aren't threatening to leave - when the small churches get something useful from Cleveland - they will be considered a success.

Post We expect nothing less. Aaron Scott
I hate being a bit cynical to this non-announcement. Is it to make sure we reelect them all (or at least a certain one of them)?

It's about like those Facebook posts that announce, "I am driving my car today."

Look, our default expectation is that they be in unity. No need to report on unity UNLESS they ever are not in unity. Frankly, I think they are too good of men for any other outcome but unity.
