"The most I can say about why I have cancer, medically speaking, is that bodies are delicate and prone to error. As a Christian, I can say that the Kingdom of God is not yet fully here, and so we get sick and die."

Myriad have "thought through that," NB, long before Kate Bowler. She wrote her PhD dissertation on the subject, which I have read and have a copy: Blessed: A History of the American Prosperity Gospel.
Bowler is just one more in a long line of rationally thinking persons not deceived by prosperity theology.

Its called "eschatological tension (already/not yet)," Dave. Google will give ya some sources.
