Degree mills believe they would be lowering their standards to give out honorary degrees. They don't want to be in the awkward position of having to rescind the honorary degrees like some universities did for Trump and for Bill Cosby.
They have to maintain their integrity, so they just don't give out honorary degrees. Wink

Yes indeed one may obtain a honery docterate from a degree mill. As a matter of fact, most of the honery docterates touted by preachers on the grass roots level. Whether it be COG, COGOP, AG, Indy Baptist, etc., most of the honerys touted at the pastoral level are from schools that do not hold legitimately recognized accreditation.

Legitimately accredited institutions that bestow honery docterates at all only award so many each year. For example, a school like ORU or Lee will only award 2-4 honery's per year.
