When registering a pen name, if anonymity is important, be sure the email address does not include identity information such as your name, location, town or state. If you've already registered a pen me, make a completely SEPARATE registration for your real name.
GO TO GMAIL or some other site that offers free email and get a new email address from there.
THE REASON for getting an additional email address is because the registration process has "built-in protections" to keep anyone else from using your email address. So, if someone attempts to register again using their previous email, the little gremlins who run the automated registration will kick it back with the message, "Someone already has that email address." Of course, that "someone" is your first registration.
After getting the additional email address, make a separate registration using the new email. Once registered again, you can then post under your pen name or real name.
