Just a logical guess but I think Bonnie was pointing out how some folks follow blindly some local (not biblical, but sounds so) directives from a pastor with no questions to it's biblical basis. Just accepting the word of an AUTHORITY.
I think this is seen nation wide, but it is an example of how folks can follow blindly, Just because someone is convinced THIS IS THE WAY!
I'M PROBABLY COMPLETELY OUT OF STEP, but I know that is actually a step .......................... I really did not mean that in caps, but I am too tired to change it. LOL

Yeah, I got that, Cojak, though I'm not one who disbelieves in partial fasts (but that's another thread.)
No one seems to understand my comments in this thread. I think it's time for me to be quiet.
I thought the purpose of a discussion board was to discuss different ideas. Silly me.
