Calling all prayer warriors! Pastor Lindell had a cardiac event this morning. He’s currently in a 6-12 hour operation to repair an “aortic dissection”. It’s a very serious, life threatening issue. Please spread the word and pray. Please also keep Amber, Samuel, and Isaac lifted up in prayer. We will provide updates here on this post as we receive them!
9/17 Updates:
6:00PM CT-Surgery is going well, and Lindell is doing well and is strong!
9:00 PM- They’re finishing up and they have drains in place. They are going to watch the drains to make sure they are working. Pray that the drains work because if not then they have to go in and find any problems. But if they are draining correctly then they will move him to ICU
11:00PM- Surgeon just left and gave a detailed report. He feels it went as well as it could. We are praying for the following: no bleeding, blood flow throughout the body, proper draining, kidney and liver working properly, lungs healed, and no stroke. The next 48 hours are critical.
9/18 UPDATES:
The doctors think that Lindell is bleeding internally due to drainage issues. The surgeon was called in, and Lindell went into surgery again at 7:00AM CT this morning. We will hopefully have an update coming soon.
10:00AM- Surgery went well. They did not find any tears. They are bringing him back to the ICU.
12:30PM- They woke Lindell up for a couple of minutes and he was able to move, and was responding to commands. He is looking good. His color looks good. Labs are good. Amber and Isaac are with him now. He’ll be out for a few more hours probably. Such a good report!

God used him (as a very young man) in a significant way during the Brownsville revival 25 years ago. He was the worship leader then. He now pastors a church in Nashville. Very humble, tells it straight, and honors God with his life and worship.
The cardiac event could have easily killed him, but he is coming through it very well. Thanks for praying.
