That these jokers would think they should try to intimidate us into not speaking our minds is in fact laughable. The CoG’s days are truly numbered if intimidation is the mode these supposed servant leaders will continue to operate in.

Thankful for the freedom of interaction we have on Actscelerate thanks to Doyle and Shaun.

On the COG FB site, Tom Sterbens revealed two VERY concerning things. Bishop Hill confirmed these facts, with his own post as well.

1. The Executive Committee determined that conversation on the Excellent Ministry FB page needed to be "reigned in".

2. It was suggested that "someone from headquarters" MONITOR that site.

It concerns me greatly, that conversations on a Facebook site would cause that much of a stir in Cleveland.

So has Cleveland beat back the challenge?

No more discussion unless it's to pat the Exec Committee and Board members of Lee on the back.

Lee admin and board say they will clean it up this time - and they really really mean it this time. Even though it really wasn't all that bad, right? - look at all the good people that graduate from Lee - don't try to see behind the curtain. Nothing to see there.

Folks like TJ that the Tenn Overseer (with the tacit approval of the General Overseer) allowed to be ridiculed and smeared - can no longer point anything else out.

Meanwhile let's reward the Tenn Overseer with a spot on the Exec Committee - for a job well done.

Status Quo rules.

You can't get to the top and stay at the top unless your a "yes" man. Same as in the corporate world.

From Goergiapath "You can't get to the top and stay at the top unless your a "yes" man. Same as in the corporate world".

Very true. Or as I had a high level executive tell me once "I always know what I'm going to get from you: the truth". Which turned out to be the cause of me being reassigned elsewhere.

Not sure what’s going on here, brethren?

Our personal feedback was requested on an alleged merge of this board. Now, helpful posts offering a new Acts2.0 redirection are being removed with no warning, no discussion and no explanation.

It has turned like when the SO calls and orders you to move to another church in 3 days or less. If someone is indeed officially pressuring the censure-erasing of this board so, be it! We’ve been here long enough to start our own Acts2.0 and keep on going.

Let this be a reminder to all who used Actscelerate to get to and remain in official position in our organization. This board was here long before some became officials or were in any ministry at all.
