Potential Major Leadership Shuffle |
aprilmay2.0 |
I'm hearing that there are some changes brewing in the AB world. Im not sure about the different pathways careers that are involved but I do know the heart of the change starts in cleveland and is based on promises made and promised broken. Just remember folks, when the the promise comes down that dusty road, the grass may be greener on the other side... or it may just be bluegrass.
PS- Get you decoder rings out for this one.

My decoder ring says a suffle is a dish baked with eggs and is usually spelled with an "o" before the "u." |

Well, now that you put an "h" in there, I'm back to square one and I'm not getting any clues at all on my decoder ring.
Oops. Spoke too soon. My decoder ring just reminded me that I'm a big bluegrass fan, and the father of bluegrass music, the estimable Bill Monroe, hailed from KENTUCKY. |

Well, with a decent 'decoder ring' one would almost believe the 'pathway', 'heart' and 'bluegrass' ref would be Terry Hart from Pathway Publishing going to Kentucky as AB. But then again it would depend on the quality of your decoder ring. |

I haven't been on this site in forever, however I was contacted by someone about this post. So I will say this as of 5 minutes ago our AB has not been notified, contacted, or ask, by any of the 5 major prophets or God Himself about going anywhere. He and the First Lady ask to come back to Ky.
That is all! Carry on! _________________ Go Cats |

Might this have something to do with the retirement at Plant City? |

Dority Named Interim Publishing House Leader
CLEVELAND, TN: The Church of God International Executive Committee today announced that Rev. T. Wayne Dority has been appointed as the interim Director of Publications for the Church of God Publishing House/Pathway Press. Dority’s appointment is effective February 1, 2017.
Dority has most recently served as the Director of Multi-Cultural Ministries for the Church of God. Prior to joining the Division of World Evangelization, Dority served as a successful pastor and an Administrative Bishop/State Overseer in Ohio, Texas, and the Pacific Northwest.
“With the departure of Terry Hart, the Executive Committee and I initially announced that we were going to appoint an interim leadership team to lead the publishing house until we were able to identify the right person to take on this important and vital role. However, after further consideration and discussion, we realized that the right leader was already on our team in Wayne Dority. With a strong editorial staff and financial team in place, we believe Wayne is the leader needed to step in and manage the day-to-day operations of the publishing house without it ever missing a beat. The church is fortunate that he is willing to take on this challenge,” stated Dr. Timothy M. Hill, General Overseer of the Church of God.
Dority noted: “The opportunity to lead the publishing house during this interim period is an unexpected surprise to me, but something that I believe is in the center of God’s will for me and my ministry. And I do see my service to the publishing house as a great ministry. While I know that the printing business is facing major challenges in a time when it seems everything is going digital, I look forward to working with the dedicated staff at the publishing house to seek viable – and sustainable – solutions to make the publishing house a premier operation.”
On an interim basis, Dority will replace Terry Hart. Hart has been appointed by the Church of God Executive Committee to serve as the Administrative Bishop/State Overseer of Alabama. |

From Bruce Rabon, KY Admin. Bishop regarding this post:
For those on social media who have had me moving for the last eight months:
Dear friends:
As you know by now I am in Tennessee, I mean Alabama, I mean Florida, I mean I mean I mean the Carolinas. No, no,
I packed all my boxes between leaving the office today at 5pm and going to Berea at 7pm to meet with that district.
For most packing this quick is pretty near impossible. But I'm getting good at it because according to those on social media I've been moving since last June.
Wanda and I loaded the truck under the cover of darkness.
Why shucks we're getting so good at this we were able to be back in Kentucky by day light and had everything in the truck unloaded and back in the parsonage.
Blessings.
