 Greatest evangelist of all has received his reward |

I know I left here but I thought I would post 1 more time.
My friend Reinhard Bonnke passed from death to eternal life this morning. I was privileged to know him and he has shaped my ministry. His vision of a blood washed Africa came to pass. I met him in 1986 and followed and supported his ministry CFAN (Christ for All Nations) ever since. Miracles signs and wonders were the hallmark of his ministry and he was unashmedly Pentecostal, always preaching on the Baptism in the Holy Ghost with tongues as the evidence. Many in America know little about him but in Africa today the multiplied millions of souls that were birthed into God's Kingdom are mourning the loss of their spiritual father. I loved Reinhard. When I preach in Africa, I know I am standing on his shoulders. I was privileged to serve on the executive committee for our city in 2014 for over a year in preparation as Bonnke brought his America Shall be Saved Crusade to us.
May the church become what he desperately desired, filled with unity, love, faith and the supernatural power of God. Another of God's Generals is at home tonight. Thank you Jesus for the ministry, obedience and anointing of what I believe to be the greatest evangelist the world has ever seen ( surely by numbers of souls alone anyway.) Since the year 2000 more than 55 million souls were birthed. Since the beginning of his ministry more than 70 million were saved as he preached to untold multitudes of millions during his life. He was 79.

Nice salute my friend. God needs men who are able to carry the WORD. I have never known we even had men to which those types of figures could be attached. They are definitely few and far between.

A great soul winner and man of God. The COG had him speak once at a General Assembly I believe in Indianapolis. He spoke at a special service - not the night time. Really good. When we pastored, we had a Bible study for the older people on each Friday night and our special offering from these Friday night services were sent to Bro. Reinhart and another missionary. He said he could win a soul for a $1 in the foreign fields. So our little church will reap the souls that were sewn into his ministry. A lot of people are in Heaven because of his dedication to God. |

Cost on average over 1 million dollars. But, few if any of them ever resulted in less than 1 million souls. In Lagos in 2000 there was one night where over 2.3 million people in attendance, for 1 mile in every direction but behind the stage, there were solid people as far as you could see. That night. 1.25 million people gave their lives to Jesus and filled out a decision card. Over the course of 5 nights 3.8 million were saved. May God continue to pour out His Spirit that way in America but if not, may He continue to do so where hungry people are seeking an answer. The answer always is the same. HIS NAME IS JESUS.
Look into the fields, Reinhard always said, they are white unto harvest. He plundered hell to populate heaven. May we do the same. |

Good to see you posting, brotherjames.
My estranged son was a part of the Reinhart Bonnke's Farewell Crusade in Nigeria a couple of years. He did the drone work, and I was able to see a few of those photos/videos on social media until he blocked me there too. It is things like this that give me hope and encouragement that my son still believes at some level some of the things I endeavored to teach him...and to believe God can change his heart and turn things around.
I don't know a lot about Rev. Bonnke, but I've only heard good things. I am pretty sure it was his ministry in which a man was raised from the dead several years ago during a service. The man's body was in the basement of the building, and he was raised from the dead! He wasn't even prayed for...the service was going on upstairs.
I have seen it said on FB that he won 77 million (documented) to Christ. Oh God, give us a heart for souls like he had! A FB friend that had met him said no matter what the topic of discussion presently was, for Bonnke it always came back to evangelism and souls.
