Moderate Democrat vs. Liberal democrat.
Clinton Democrat vs. Obama Democrat
(Trump is the Clinton Democrat)

That's our two choices.

I say neither candidate gets 47% of the popular vote.

I actually agree with you quite a bit here NBF. Neither will get my vote though, I believe the 2 party system needs to come to an end, and this is the best time ever for it.

btw - doesn't it bother you just a bit that a "moderate democrat" is the GOP nominee?

I can't remember the last time a moderate wasn't the nominee.

It's not.

If Bill Clinton would have been a Republican - he would be hailed as hero right behind Reagan.

If he'd been pro-life, pro-gun, anti-social-medicine, pro-religious freedom, and many other things, than yeah I agree. Economically he was a Goldwater Republican and better than Bush, socially, not so much.

I don't remember any changes to religious freedom, guns or abortion laws during his time.
He also greatly cut back on welfare, he put thugs in prison, and supported a defense of marriage Act - only between a man and a woman.
I would take that in a President right now.

Really? The biggest gun-ban in history? The 1994 Assault Weapons Ban?, He threatened to veto any abortion bill from congress and your buddy Gingrich caved in. Don't-ask-don't-tell to allow gays in the military. I seem to remember a lot of state-department investigations into ministries at the time (some deserved, others just for being large)

But I agree I'd take Bill Clinton for life if we could have avoided Obama.

Doesn't matter. Mr. Green

Here's a link, though, if you want to be reminded that Bill Clinton vetoed the ban on partial birth abortion! He also issued a memorandum allowing abortion on overseas military bases (reversal of Bush and Reagan policy).

And if Clinton didn't veto it - the courts would have overturned it - as they do on all of it. If the partial birth abortion bill was so good - why didn't Bush get it done in his first two years in office?

I don't think there has been any harm with the assault weapons ban that was passed. Didn't republicans vote it in?

Abortion on military bases? Why wouldn't women in the military be given the same rights as the rest of us...no matter how disgusting that right is?

You want to fix stuff - the court has to be packed with conservatives.

Hopefully Cruz will accept an appt there.
