Our church has produced some great singers and preachers. I admire the dude's wife, eight kids? WOW. One tough lady and pastor's wife too! It seems he not only won but also lived & gave a good testimony internationally!

I have only heard good things about this family. After they had 3 children, the decided to adopt. Later that child's sibling became available for adoption, and God provided the $ needed to adopt her also.
Someone posted this from his dad's FB page after all the hoopla was over on Tuesday night. ...I thought this was the sweetest thing!

Then we start turning out lights because that is what Pastors learn to do early in ministry. He reaches for the light in the men’s restroom, pauses, looks down at the soiled paper towels on the floor. With no hesitation, reaches down, picks them up and puts them in the trash, washes his hands and turns off the light.
He didn’t see me but I rushed to the other end of the church and broke down in thanksgiving!
This man that has just won “The Voice†just made sure the restrooms were neat, the lights were off and God’s house was secure. That’s what Dad’s do. That’s what Pastors do! That is who he is."
