Trump is a real piece of work. I know his kind well, unfortunately. The narcissists I know are very good at starting stuff. They are very good at talking about stuff. They will have you believing they can do anything. Terrific salesmen. Great liars and they will double down and triple down if caught in one. Their warranties stink though. Very, very bad at finishing.
Republicans have been duped. Sad |
Amazing. No thread pointing out flaws about Hillary can be started on this board without some of yall trying to turn it into a Trump bashing fest. I'll laugh when she takes away your churches' tax exempt status.
Trump, for all his flaws, is an angel next to Hillary. She is your enemy. Trump is not. Seriously, you all will get what you deserve. I won't feel sorry for you. |
A credible source would be nice.
Trump's stupidity is well-documented and no one has to make up anything.
Agree Hillary is evil, but that does not change Trump's spots or the fact that Repubs were duped |
I guess we could have settled for Goldman Sachs Cruz. |
Yeah, I guess Cruz wouldn't be much of an improvement over Trump lol.
I think I would approve of a Goldman Sacs secured loan over numerous bankruptcies from the financial genius Trump. That being said, I recognize that any candidate would have an uphill battle against Hillary. Cruz citizenship was of more concern for me. I understand if you have a million dollars worth of stock in a stable company it makes more sense to get a loan against the value of the stock, than to cash in stock and use. Just like I would not sell my house, but use the value to get a loan. Don't see what big deal about that is. Trump made it one , though. |

It does not matter now anyway. It's over. There are too many people more offended at Trump's bluntness than they are at the floods of crimes Hillary has committed. I'm not sure anything could bring her down, not even an indictment. _________________ "It is doubtful if any Trinitarian Pentecostals have ever professed to believe in three gods, and Oneness Pentecostals should not claim that they do." - Daniel Segraves UPCI |

Trump is flawed.
But apparently he was the best chance we had of turning the country around. The guys we have been electing didn't stop one Obama spending dollar, one abortion, or one gay marriage.

He's bluntness is not the issue.
A Presidential candidate is a statesman not a loose cannon.
You can be blunt and still be Presidential without being an clown, something Trump hasn't figured out.
Here's the difference:
Reagan: Mr. Gorbachev, open this gate. Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall
What Trump would have said: Mr. Gorbachev, open this gate or I'll kick it down in your face. Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall or I'll blow it up. |

Well, not exactly. Trump would say on the campaign trail that he admires Gorbachev's ability to keep the wall in place. But the people who got fried trying to escape the iron curtain were losers. He would claim that he could make Gorbachev tear down the wall because he (Trump) is such a great negotiator. But once in office he would meet with Gorbachev. Reporters would gush over how Gorbachev remarked that Trump was warm and charming in person. (And the wall would still be up.)
Hillary would be fine with the wall up or down as long as it didn't hurt the Democrats politically. |

So? For this we elect Hillary? You prove my point. Call it bluntness lack of tact, whatever. Whatever you call it, more people seem to be offended by it than they are Hillary's crimes. | Resident Skeptic, back in the primary, when people were trying to explain that Trump wasn't electable, if I recall correctly, you tried to dismiss those concerns, but now you are saying things like you will laugh at the pastors (presumably Patrick Harris and diakoneo since they are the pastors who have posted on this thread) when Hillary takes away their churches' tax exempt status and that "You all will get what you deserve. I won't feel sorry for you." |

Since we have strayed from the OP pretty far I want to add this:
My dad was a wise man, for years I have used his common sense logic he learned being the oldest of 12 in his family, and raised on a farm. Once in Key West I was teaching Naval Intelligence (I know that is what some call and oxymoron) after one of my classes the skipper called me in. “I stood outside your classroom today, you are doing a good job, but if your daddy said all you said he did he talked a lot.” I told him my dad was a preacher.
Now a couple of his statements to me when I thought I was called to preach. Son, much can be accomplished, if you do not care who gets the credit. Please avoid the “I told you So” or “when this falls thru, I will remind you”, those are the two most hollow victories in life. It means NOTHING, but causes hard feelings. No one knows better than the man who makes the wrong decision, better than the man himself. Reminding him of it only rubs salt in the wound, Christians do not do that.
I smile to myself, it would be good if all Christians would remember that. NO ONE is smart enough to constantly tell their fellows, ‘I told you so!” _________________ Some facts but mostly just my opinion!

Cojak, here's your new word for the day: schadenfraude (pronounced SHOD 'n froid uh)
It means "enjoyment obtained from the troubles of others"
It really is hard not to say "I told you so." Like I told my son when he was younger, "If you break your leg playing on that after I told you not to get on it, don't come running to me!" |

It would help if she would lose about 100lbs. off that big rear-end. She looks like she's been rode hard and put up wet. |
