Israel Kristal was born in 1903, when I read that I thought that was the year my dad was born. If he had lived he would be the oldest man in the world his birthday was in January of 1903.
But he passed away in Charlotte, NC as I flew in from GITMO and the weather was too bad for the plane to lane and was diverted to Virginia.
B.F. Darnell was a self educated man, as a Peanut farmer in North Georgia he was called to preach. He pastored in the COG over 50 years and passed away at 69. I never realized how young that was.
I miss his wisdom, and am shocked that he COULD BE THE OLDEST MAN ALIVE, had he lived.
