No surprise here.

Been a Falcons fan since 1966.

This may be the last straw for Atlanta sports fans.

Atlanta is "Choke City" for all of it's professional teams.

Even the Braves during their great run won the World Series only once.

I will still root for the team, but I hold no hope of them returning to the Super Bowl.

It would have been better for the Falcons to miss the playoffs completely that to make it to the Super Bowl and just plain choke.

"there's always next year"

Sure, who cares.

My wife turned on the TV in the Third Quarter. She wanted Atlanta to win because they had never won. Not being a fan of Super bowls and the gaudy half time junk, we came in late. It was a good comeback AND it was a surprise. Wink

I'm sure most of us felt the same way, but I had a good chuckle at an AB and Acts poster who gave out his congratulations to the Falcons, awarded his MVP and had about 20 or so replies all on how great the FFalcons were and how the Pats were just not up to par.

My son kept saying they were going to come back and at 28 - 9 in the 4th I thought it would at least be the most amazing comeback in SB history, and nothing was impossible, but very unlikely.

Hats off to Brady, it took 5 times and getting a peep at the "Make America Great Again" hat in the locker room (presumably Brady's), but I now respect him. He may be a soulless cyborg, but he is unquestionably the best to ever play the position (as much as it pains me to say it).
