Could your quality bible colleges go totally remote? |
caseyleejones |
I am referring to COG...AG...IPH....and a few other quality aftermarket ones. Public schools are being forced into total remote learning and it is going quite successfully.
It's obvious that I'm not learned like many here who did go to Lee and others. But, what keeps many out? Proximity, money and employment perhaps?
Your thoughts of moving bible colleges online.....things to consider...
1) Families don't have to be uprooted and learning can be done in the evenings
2) Less buildings, maintenance, and personnel needed
3) Less money needed for capital means less expensive tuition
4) attract more people and families....
You can send forth more trained individuals......
Pick the above apart....thanks |

I thought they already did this. I know Lee has been online for years. |

I did not know that. My apologies. I thought they were in person attendance. |

Shaun just finished undergrad work at Lee completely online. I'm in my last semester of undergrad work in a technical major, not at Lee but also 100% online.
There are differences, for sure. Online learning requires you to be much more organized and to be able to partially teach yourself. For my money, though, it has sure beat having to go to a campus three days a week.
I'm not sure I could have done it as an 18 year old. But it's been perfect for me now that I'm 35 with a family and a career. |

I teach in a public school. Some of what I do is hands-on. |

We are totally remote now and it is going fairly well. I do believe the face of education is changing moving forward. I wondered if bible colleges could do that totally. |

I think they could, but many of them want to charge regular tuition. I have taken courses in a hybrid format and have had good experiences. _________________ Romanos 8:37
