Do we really want the state telling businesses they cannot discriminate over religious beliefs, when we want bakers to be free to turn down falsely so called 'gay' falsely so called 'wedding' cakes? They'd probably be more successful trying to get every sensible Anglican and Roman Catholic to stop doing business with that bank. |

So you favor what they did? |

Link, so you are in favor of banks closing church accounts because the church teaches that homosexuals can change? _________________ The largest room in the world is the room for improvement. |

No, I but I do not like the idea of the government being so involved in persecuting businesses that make decisions based on philosophical and religious reasons, like we've seen with governments persecuting businesses that refuse to make 'gay wedding' cakes.
If every serious Protestant and Roman Catholic with decent sexual morals in northern Ireland stopped doing business with that bank, it might hurt their business more. Maybe they are going for establishing a right to believe as they will with the bank, and it may be their laws prevent religious discrimination.
Why don't we all write the bank a letter refusing to do business with them over this? |
