I don't know much about it. Someone said it started as a youth camp work day. It sounded like they didn't know what started the fire yet. No one was injured, so that was good news. But so devastating...and there are so few state tabernacles left. Heart-breaking!

I have some good memories of the campground there. Back in the day, Georgia was one state in the COG but there was still a SGA campground. For many years, I would drive down to Campmeeting to visit with friends. Assuming they have their insurance in place, it’s going to be a great opportunity to upgrade and build a nice tabernacle. I hope they are able to do that and carry the tradition of Campmeeting that has been lost in other places like North Georgia.

I live about 25 miles from the SGa Campground. I went to Campmeeting June 5, 2022.

It was under a tent.

As I understand the Tabernacle will be rebuilt. Wish Gary Lewis could be the leader in this.

However I hear Gosnell is a great leader.
