We are watching Trump self-destruct |
doyle |
I believe Trump could be a powerful force in helping turn our country around but his lack of wisdom in his public persona, is causing him to self-destruct. At this time there is only one person who can beat Trump nationally and that is Donald Trump. It seems his full-time occupation now is self-destructing his campaign.
Possibly he realizes that a conservative Republican will have great trouble getting elected, unless he draws in Independents and Democrats. That is actually true but even Independents and Democrats are turned off by the intentional profanity.
It makes no sense to win one group and lose another. Christians are not going to vote in great numbers for someone so unwise in personal persona. It is shocking that Trump simply does not get it. Sad when what he could do for the country is needed so bad.

I am not shocked by all this, I am shocked that it took this long.
This is the real Trump. You can have the street savy to make money. He has that. But does that translate into running a country of 300 million? There are many in the corporate world savier than Trump and far far more with exceeding wisdom and in their wisdom they choose not to run. So there you go! |

I think it's interesting that him saying the F word is what breaks the camel's back. He used the F word in a statement about how he was going to force companies that have left the U.S. to return, which is a fascist, big government, unconstitutional declaration.
That's cool though. No problem with that. But the F word is a deal breaker. |

Yeah, that is the Trump mentality. You will do things my way or else! Why not foster an environment where companies want to stay and more companies can grow?
Just one example of what a Trump presidency would be like. A disaster for sure! |

Doyle I think you correct and I am glad to see it happen.
Better to see the real Donald now than after he is elected. _________________ Recorded Sermons @ www.pastorwiley.com

It is getting to wear thin. Denying you said something that thousands have heard is self absorbed. I smiled, about his statement saying he would he be on stage at the next FOX debate, Of course. Then HE SEEMED to think, and SAY, it was never about Megan, etc. WOW!

I'm just trying to figure out where the getgo is. Is a slug from the getgo similar to a thug from the ghetto? |

Amazing.
Here is a guy that is trying to fix the dam that is about to totally collapse and we are worried about a cuss word.
The problem with us who, as Christians, have learned to bridal our tongues is that we often don't understand that less spiritual folk often use cuss words when they are passionately or genuinely concerned about something. I have often found that my calm demeanor and bridled tongue during a crisis comes across to the unsaved as a lack of concern.
Think about it. What if your child or family member was dying, needed a life saving operation that few knew how to perform, and the most qualified surgeon was constantly cussing and saying the other surgeons were losers? Are you telling me your Christian morals and principles would compel you to let your daughter die rather than have the most qualified surgeon operate on her?
I'm not saying Trump is necessarily the best candidate or that none of his criticisms of his opponents are invalid. However, he is speaking from his street smart perception he has acquired from years of being in the trenches in the real world. He can spot a phony politician a mile away. That is why I continue to give him more benefit than doubt. _________________ "It is doubtful if any Trinitarian Pentecostals have ever professed to believe in three gods, and Oneness Pentecostals should not claim that they do." - Daniel Segraves UPCI |

Res , It's more about his character than his use of cuss words. IF he dont get his way his first impulse is to insult who ever's in from of him. He just doesnt have any class unless someone is complimenting him.
A real man would have confronted Megan Kelly instead of hiding behind the veterans , which from what I have read it was his first interaction with them.
I havent heard any of his plans other than how great he is and that people love him. Well other than the GOP and the folks at Iowa. Its quite obvious that he is stuck on himself.
He does know how to speak the words that people want to hear but I have a feeling its all lip service. |

You speak of character. Granted he blew it by not standing up to Megan. But does your perception of Trump's promises being only lip service seem to be in keeping with his "character" in the business world? Did he build his empire by saying one thing and doing another. Just something to think about. _________________ "It is doubtful if any Trinitarian Pentecostals have ever professed to believe in three gods, and Oneness Pentecostals should not claim that they do." - Daniel Segraves UPCI |

No doubt about it , he's done well in business. Timing , and backing were right for him. And When your the CEO of of company what you say goes period. Those that try to buck you there are out of a job.
The world will change when he gets in office and finds half of the politicians there bucking him. What will he do then? Throw another tantrum , run and hide somewhere , quit or just throw insults?
I was for him all the way until he ran and hid from Megan , a woman , instead of dealing with it like the great dealer he says he is. |
