If Trumps wimps out of the debate he's lost my vote! If he's afraid of Megan Kelly , a woman , whats he gonna do when he's confronted by one of our adversaries? In fact I'm not real sure that I will vote for him now. What a whinny wimp of a man. What he really needs is a 13 week course offered by the USMC.

I forgot he has always said he would attend these media events if they were "Nice to me".

Maybe we could offer him some Alphabet soup and a Cherry Soda Pop. Later we could get him tickets to the Sponge Bob Square Pants movie.

Just one more reason I have changed my mind on him. He's a classic narcissist. If someone crosses him, he gets angry and wants revenge. No idea that it could possibly be something he's done wrong, in fact he's well convinced that he CAN do no wrong. Can you imagine such a man with the nuclear football? Golf Cart Mafia Consigliere

That attitude does bother me. Yep the course would definitely do the dude good. It has a way of adjusting an attitude!

I'm voting for Rand Paul in the primary as planned, if Paul is still in the race by then. I'll support Trump if he is the nominee. Sadly, outside of Cruz and Paul, he is still the only one that has the guts to make changes.

I'm not a Trump fan, but I think skipping the debate is a MAJOR mistake. It shows him to be immature, insecure, and inflexible.

He's wants to lead the free world, but doesn't want to appear in an uncomfortable debate setting?

In my opinion, this will hurt him. THAT SAID!

I will probably laugh at myself when after the debate he climbs in the polls. How many times have I told myself, "That will sink is boat!" And the next day his poll numbers went up.

This is one crazy election cycle, if they get crazier, maybe we need another system, I just do not get it. Confused Confused

I guess Trump is doing what all politicians have done promise the moon, except he is so obvious, doesn't even try to hide it. Now this childish act, will it hurt? By all logic it should....... Shocked

RS, I love Ron Paul, Rand seems to have equivocated on his message to the point where voters don't see him as relevant. Too bad because I think he is the only classical conservative in the race. That said, at this point a vote for Paul or anyone else is probably a vote for Trump (sadly)

C6, minus the USMC that is just what I was thinking. I have a bad eye so I did not serve in the military.

Cojak, I also think it will hurt him and I hope it will. There are things I like about Trump, but think there are better men for the job. I know he does not have a chance, but I am supporting Huckabee. Maybe he will be the Vice, my next choice is Rubio, then Cruz.

If Huckabee does become the Vice maybe Carson will be.

I think he is making a mistake.

But in fairness - Megan Kelly dropped the ball in the first debate.

The FIRST question she asked wasn't about war, economy, abortion...
No - she asked "did you call women ____ - isn't that a problem?

How was that the first question?

Yet no one ever leads Hillary's questions with, "Did you call other women Bimbo's when they claimed your husband raped them?"

Trump has a right to call foul - and when Fox didn't reprimand the questioner - he could only assume that is the type questions that he could always expect.

Both are valid questions for women voters. Did Megyn Kelly moderate a Clinton debate that I missed?

It was a good chance for Trump to mend fences with women. He should take it as such, move on, and participate in a debate that he claims he would win. He certainly gained support from the first one so why not? If nothing else he could use it as another chance to jab at her, his supporters seem to like it. I don't see where he scores any points by running away from this.

Trump knows it's a trap. He knows Fox is going to bait him and ask questions that there are no good answers to. If he refuses to answer he will be dogged. If he answers honestly he will be dogged. It's a no win situation. I think he is smart to go do his fund raiser for veterans. Golf Cart Mafia Soldier

Fox News has undoubtedly been in Trumps camp. He has appeared on FOX over 130 times during this election cycle. However, one thing that conservative and liberal journalists agree on is freedom of speech and journalistic integrity. Watch this... the media from all streams will absolutely rip Trump apart on this decision. I can only hope it will hurt his chances of being the nominee. This guy is a joke and an embarrassment to the process! Friendly Face

I like them too, but at this point they will only detract from the opposition to Trump and help Trump.

Huckabee is smarting from the sting of evangelical leaders who supported Cruz instead of Huckabee. I think he is being spiteful at this point. JMO
