A week or two ago, I went to crank a car I park on the street and use for deliveries on occasion. I needed to use a battery pack to charge the car battery because it wouldn't crank. When I opened it, I saw a tail poking up from under the engine. I'm pretty sure it was a mongoose tail.
I haven't heard of mongoose attacking people. I see them around. But if cornered, they can be ferocious, as this video shows. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zzCD4ik6JAA
I'm not sure the proper thing to do when you find a mongoose in your engine. I just hooked up the battery pack, hit my horn to scare the mongoose off. If he didn't run. His mongoose may have been cooked soon because I cranked the engine. I hope he ran off and told his mongeese friends not to get in my engine. _________________ Link |
