Christie destroyed Rubio (L) |
Nature Boy Florida |
Rubio got hammered by Christie about his inexperience:
Quote: | "That's what Washington, D.C., does," Christie said. "The drive-by shot at the beginning with incorrect and incomplete information and then the memorized 25-second speech that is exactly what his advisers gave him." |
And then Rubio rattled off the same 25 second speech about his qualifications - not once, not twice, but three different times.
If the media wanted to destroy him - they could easily. I wonder if they will - or will try to sweep it under the rug - and hope no one noticed. _________________ Whether you like it or not, learn to love it, because its the best thing going today! |

Each candidate has their issues. Last night proved that Rubio has the momentum because it was his turn to get ganged up on. Christie is desperate. His campaign is almost over. Rubio stood with poise and, what nobody is talking about was his intelligent insight on what is happening in the Middle East. The whole governor vs senator thing is laughable. They are different jobs. A governor does not deal with foreign affairs and there is no way Christie or Trump could have rattled off what was going on in the Middle East. Rubio is the only one who can beat Clinton according to the polls. |

It was at that point in the debate Christie went from 3rd on my list to the very bottom. I really did not appreciate his attitude and demeanor. I do not think there is much chance he will be the nominee, but I would have to hold my nose all the way to the polls and back to vote for him. Better than Bernie but not by nearly a much as I would like.
And Rubio had an excellent and accurate point if it took three times or a hundred to get it across.

I expected that the debate and the NH primary would bring us down to 3 players (Trump Rubio and Cruz in that order), but now I think the field picked up 2 more players, sadly that is Kasich and Bush. Who both did better than expected. I don't like Kasich at all, I think he's my dad's generation of Democrat, but he might prove to make an excellent running mate for someone. Ohio is YUGE! |

Christie destroyed Rubio, yep just like everyone of this group will be destroyed in some way before Presidential Campaigns begin. The opposition's campaign manager is now logging all the accusations, copying the news, etc and will play the GOP candidates words back to them in an ad.
At least there are two on the Democrats side cutting each other also.
WE are good at destroying a peer, when they should be shooting at the DEmocrat side, MOSTLY, to say WHAT THEY COULD and would do better. _________________ Some facts but mostly just my opinion!

Anybody but Rubio.
Am I the only one that sees the fakeness? _________________ Whether you like it or not, learn to love it, because its the best thing going today! |

Guess so.
I will vote for anyone but him.
I will write in Travis Johnson's name before I will vote for Rubio. _________________ Whether you like it or not, learn to love it, because its the best thing going today! |

Did you read the poll I posted that no one has commented on yet? It says that only Rubio can win over Hillary. So, if it's Rubio vs Hillary, what do you do? |

I read the polls right away. I was surprised at a couple, but as the pollsters said, "Lot of months yet, and in this political season."
Two things are amazing to me, Bernie's rise and Trumps 'staying' power.
That time between now and the final primary will give Donald too much time to do himself more damage. I do not think he can control his desire to smash anyone who disagrees with him. That hurts him... _________________ Some facts but mostly just my opinion!

I think Kasich would make a good running mate if he can bring in Ohio. Partly because he has never been at the top, I don't see that he's ever duked it out with his fellow candidates. He just talks about needing to work together, get along, and recites his resume. He's kind of boring. But he'd probably be an easy guy to get along with as a running mate during the campaign and he'd make a good VP. And if he were made the VP, the Republicans would not have to give up the seniority and influence of an establish senator. _________________ Link |

Trumps "staying' power bugs me. He has some diehard supporter that would vote for him no matter what he said or did. Hitler-esk almost |

You jokers need to wake up and smell the coffee.
You can see so clearly that Bernie and Hillary are promising a bunch of stuff they can't deliver without a 50 Trillion dollar debt, lying about emails and Benghazi - but when you are played by Republicans - you take what they say as true.
Trump is the only one that will do things differently. He might be better - he might be worse. But the status quo will change. Can we believe anyone else will do the same?
That is why Trump continues to lead. _________________ Whether you like it or not, learn to love it, because its the best thing going today! |

He leads by a plurality, not a majority presumably because the disgruntled vote has rallied mainly behind him. He also leads in percentage of voters who would never vote for him. He does not lead an any single poll vs either Sanders or Clinton. Are you really willing to burn down the house to kill the rats? |

And that's a good thing? Obama changed the status quo. Now, executive orders replace law in a lot of cases. Does Trump have a clear vision on anything but a wall? Reagan shook things up, but he had a clear direction. If Trump shakes things up, what is that going to look like?
I heard him talking about how he would penalize companies who want to take jobs out of the country. How is he going to do that? The president is not a king or a dictator. There are laws that allow certain things.
He also comments about China devaluing their currency and says it isn't fair. Hasn't he considered that we 'let them get away with that' for a reason? They are lending us money to prop up our government. When spending comes from deficits instead of taxes, the money has to come from somewhere.
The man whose tagline is 'you're fired' wants to be the 'jobs president.' _________________ Link |

I agree that Christie made Rubio look bad. It isn't going to do much for Christie but may help trump or Cruz. I don't know how bad it will hurt Rubio. Rubio needs to be better prepared to answer questions. His 25 second speech about Obama didn't tell us why to vote for Rubio. A lot of people watching the Republican debates aren't happy with Obama. _________________ Link |

From your laughter - I assume you believe Trump will do things like everyone else.
