I voted in the poll and have not read through all the post at the responses. I voted no for one reason...

I will not be voting for any one on the EC until they explain what went on in California with Franklin. I will vote for Mark Williams and Wallace Sibley and Carlos Moran for EWM and Gary Lewis as YCE

I must admit I will be voting for every member on the present EC at the highest position they are available for from the top on down. They are all eligible to be on the committee again, even though some would have to move up or down. If I have to add a person it will be RLV, two-time former GO because he is one of the most capeable leaders I've ever worked under. My goodness, look at his resume! Even now on the Bible Society Board, PFNA (now PCCNA) - he is respected world-wide in Christianity. There's no way you could find a greater man IMHO. So, if I have to add on this time it will be RLV but I appreciate all of our leaders and will re-elect every one if I can. We have been truly blessed with great leaders.

Dennis McGuire is not eligible for PB at the GA. He can remain on the EC if the will of the people desire it. But he cannot be PB. I can't believe some of these posts.

Is George and McClung really experiencing what has been noted or is this hearsay? They were considering doing away with Bill George's position when Don Jenkins retired but they needed a place for Bill when he left the publishing house.

First I have heard of any of this.

Blessed....this is a thread that was done in 06. Someone brought it back to the front for fun.

The point was not that they found a spot for bill, but the fact that he had to leave where he was in 06. I think if you go back and read the posts in the light of the year it was posted, it will make more sense.

Maybe the real reason the evangelism directors positions were done away with so these guys could create more positions for themselves when they come off their term.
