The first question that comes to my mind: Is this person's condition (disease) your take, or is it an actually diagnosed to be an attraction to bad actors?

Maybe just a frank sit-down talk with the pastor and poddibly the lady of the potential problems you see.
If you trust the pastor then go with his instincts.
