2 NC Ministers Passed Away

It's been a rough week for NC ministers. Pastor Todd Phillips, who pastored in Morganton passed away unexpectedly on Monday. He was 60. He had some health issues but it was not expected. Please pray for his wife and daughters.

Then yesterday, Mark Shuler, son of Melvin & Glenda Shuler, passed away in his sleep. He was over LEAD ministries in WNC. He was only 46. His parents have ministered all over the country in pastoral and leadership positions such as YD & AB. Please remember them and his wife and children in your prayers.

Seems like we are losing so many ministers. These were not COVID related. So sad...

Thanks CArolyn. We did not know these men, but prayers for their churches and families. I am too old. I thought I knew every NC pastor/minister LOL.
But yes we are losing too many.... Crying or Very sad

We went to ECBC with Todd, so I remember him well. We connected on FB a few times as he had similar struggles with his feet as my hubby did, due to diabetes.

Bro. Melvin Shuler was the YD for ENC when my son Ben won Teen Talent in 1996 for Graphics (before there was a Computer Graphics category...which there was after that Assembly.) We have a picture of him standing with our family and the big trophy. His son that passed is only 4 years older than my Ben. You might recognize Bro Shuler if you saw a photo. He was the YD for ENC & WNC at different times and then started doing AB work.
