 Did they eat the salt? |

Kids ask the craziest questions.
My 9-year-old kept asking questions about Lot's wife while she's supposed to be working on home school. We were talking about her turning into a pillar of salt.
My 11-year-old asked, "did they eat the salt?"
I said, "I hope not."
Eeeewwww. Man, these kids ask some crazy questions sometimes.

I love it. Kids are the greatest at honest straight forward questions.
There are times I miss working with kids. I was doing Children's church at NC Camp Meeting. PK whose dad had been assigned to Woodfin, NC said to me when I asked her where she was from, She said, "Woodfun, but there ain't no fun in Woodfun."

I could join Doyle in the anti-sodium campaign.  When someone tries to eat one of those big hamburgers or roast beef sandwiches that have a lot of sodium, I could suggest the sodium came from Lot's wife.

Nah, When I eat one of then BIG MACS or WHOPPERS Imma thinking the salt is SEA SALT, not even from the UTAH salt flats! but definitely not imported! lol

For me, the tougher question came from my other daughter was "Did Lot's wife go to Hell?"

Yeah, I can see where that would be a tough one. I know the natural answer is: You bet your bippy! But I am glad I am not the one who decides who goes UP OR DOWN as I was taught in SS.
Those kids can put you on the spot, that is for sure!
