I think most of us agree that parachurch ministries that have their own 501c3
should be under the covering of a local church. I would like your thoughts on what this looks like when a new person who already has a 501c3 wants to be part of the church. Any ideas concerning what you feel are the proper ways and authority the church has versus micromanaging a ministry? I am speaking about situations where we are just getting to know the person, not a long term friend and ministry associate.
I am all for the body of Christ working together and don't want to be a control freak. Some churches are run this way but on the other hand I also experienced some churches that were so lax that anything could come and go in the church. |
