I was watching Juan Williams on Fox last night |

| and I wondered how Trump's election affects the feelings of racial division in our country. Juan Williams is, in my view, liberal, but I enjoy listening to what he says to get a different perspective. He didn't just seem dismayed, he seemed shocked and fearful. |

It's the effect of the rapid deflation of the cognitive dissonance being evacuated from the balloons of delusion.
(you gotta admit...that was a pretty good turn of metaphor right there... ) |

Previous resident whitehouse communist Van Jones described it as "white lash".
I hope we can all be Americans, but I have a real problem with Obama's demonization of law enforcement and our ongoing "open borders" policy.
Obama has done more to cause racial division than any other president since U.S. Grant.
We as a church fasted and prayed about the election Monday. I knew I had many options going into the voting booth. I did not like any of the options. A write in is a protest vote. A third or fourth party vote does not hold much weight. I knew that after all the things that Hillary and Bill did with the Clinton foundation and while they were in the Whitehouse I wanted most of all NOT to see them back in the whitehouse so I voted the best way I knew how to keep them out. I voted straight Republican. Never have done that before and probably never will. I did not look at his name just went in and colored the Republican oval and was done.
As much as I dislike Trump, I had much trepidation about seeing the Clintons in power again. It was a vote against Hillary plain and simple! |

Hopefully we'll go to the facts and see that Trump's percentage among minorities were UP over the last several Republicans' and that Hillary's numbers were down considerably. Hopefully the rhetoric of the left will be silenced long enough to allow reason to surface. I honestly don't believe Donald Trump is a racist, I believe he truly wants to reach out and help the inner cities in the right way, through tax incentives to rebuild them the right way rather than handouts to keep them dependent on good ol' Uncle Sam. |

Racism got a whole lot worse the last 8 years - so it is good news Trump will reverse that course. _________________ Whether you like it or not, learn to love it, because its the best thing going today! |

I think you are right, if for no other reason than it will not be forefront in every incident. Our present president brought it to the headlines with every 'seemingly' racial incident:
A black professor 'breaking into his home.'
When a thug was killed: That could have been MY SON!'
And several more. That should have been handled by local authorities or at most the state. _________________ Some facts but mostly just my opinion!

I'm bumping this. There are a couple of other threads that are also dealing with this.
I don't know what the answer is, but I know we have to be Christ-like in the way we live this out. |

Resident Skeptic |
I can see how Mexicans could be deceived into thinking Trump is a racist, but why blacks? Trump reached out to them like no other GOP candidate has done in recent memory. He will make good on his promise by lobbying for investment in their community. Will that penetrate their thick skulls and hard hearts? We'll see. _________________ "It is doubtful if any Trinitarian Pentecostals have ever professed to believe in three gods, and Oneness Pentecostals should not claim that they do." - Daniel Segraves UPCI |

They dont need a reason. The certain sect of blacks are bent on hating the white man and using every opportunity to express their hate. Thats not an opinion , thats an observation of past events. |
