Does it bother me? This might sound like moral relativism, but it bothers me more when I hear Christians use profanity. I expect those that don't know God to speak as though they don't. Doesn't mean that I enjoy it, but it doesn't surprise me. |

If you say or write, "F-bomb" have you not caused the hearer/reader think of the actual word?
If you write sh*t, or h e double-hockey sticks, have you not created an image in the hearer/reader?
And what about "by-words" and slang that are simply substitutes for the intended expression? _________________ God-Honoring

I feel the same way when I see believers writing "OMG". These are people who I know would never say "oh my God" out loud. Why is it OK because you've abbreviated it? |
