It really dont make any difference. Some of Trumps staff is using private servers now.[/quote]

That doesn't matter to me, as long as they do not pass Classified USA data on it.

That is the only charge I have heard against Hillary that has been fact. She did put top Secret data on an unsecured server. and it is a fact, there are military men maybe women in jail for less. Shocked

Sorry c6th - I have to work for a living.

Trump said he would release his taxes when the audits are complete.
And he has consistently said that.

I am very sorry you can't grasp that.

The new Trump - a man of his word. Sins of the past are forgiven - behold all things have become new - or don't you believe that?

You are about a month behind... He released the statement through blondie who said that he would not release his taxes , the election is over and he won.. So how do we interpret his campaign promise now?

Quote:
Conway said Sunday that Trump won’t release his tax returns, appearing to shut the door on a decades-long tradition of transparency.

Every president since 1976 has released their returns. During the campaign, Trump refused to make his filings public, saying they were under audit by the Internal Revenue Service and saying he'd release them after that review is complete.

OK. Since the audit continued through the election it probably is a moot point - so if they ever finish the audit - he will probably be too busy to bother with it. Guess we can worry about it next election.

As long as the wall is built, conservative justices are appointed, islamists are banned - I will consider that a win for the country.

He will probably accept you thinking badly of him over it - since you already did anyway.

Make America Great Again.

I followed that line of 'later'. Knowing the tax records would not see the light of day. Trump doesn't fill out his income tax, some bunch of lawyers do. they find every loop hole which are many for the wealthy (I hear but I wouldn't know)

The media would only print the bottom line of the 200+ pages and you and I would be for sure that he cheated. But if he had cheated he would have been hung out to dry by the Democrat IRS.

I felt about the taxes like the wall. I was positive it would not be built and I did not think the Taxes would be shown. Not that a Wealthy person is ashamed, but they know us peons would not understand. LOL

I am laughing now because once Nixon's taxes were shown and he paid $750. it was legal. I had paid twice as much as my commander in chief... I didn't like Nixon much after that. BUT he did not break the law and he was not a CROOK, he said so. Shocked

If someone takes advantage of the Law and doesnt have to pay a cent then more power to them. Thats the Law.

But by refusing to release the taxes creates suspicion about what is hiding within them. Maybe nothing , maybe something discriminating.

Yep it does give that impression, and there is Always that possibility that there is something wrong. However I doubt if it is incriminating, or it surely would have been leaked.

I don't know what the NYT knew but it was my understanding they simulated his taxes (or something) and spent a lot of paper and ink, then in the end said, however he broke no laws. Embarassed

I am sure Trump is like most business men (even me as a little business man), my CPA just handed me the forms, I found out how much I owed, I signed them. I had learned in the past I couldn't make heads or tails of mine. I cannot begin to imagine what a major business man's tax forms look like. OUCH Shocked

Post a comment by Ben Shapiro on the SCOTUS pick (L) bonnie knox
(*contains a few words not used on Acts*)

Ben Shapiro makes a good case that movement conservatives gave Trump the incentive to keep his word here.

He says very often you cannot have it both ways. maybe not, BUT many expect it. Amazing , he appointed what his base demanded! I'm confused, doesn't every elected politician do that if they expect to get elected again?

I am suspicious. He states he was wrong, then continues to say he would have been right EXCEPT. That sounds like to me a husbnd apologizing to his wife: I am truly sorry Honey, you are right, BUT IF YOU HAD NOT PUSHED ME, IT WOULD NOT HAVE HAPPENED.

Signed,
Confused in Florida (the normal state for me when I try to tie another's logic to mine.) Confused Smile Smile Smile Smile Smile
