Post Who do you like in String Bender55
The Super Bowl?

I must admit, I love that Tom Brady played at University of Michigan,
It's hard to pick someone other than The NEP, with Tom Brady at QB.

However, I like the Rams chances. That said, I'm going with The PATS.

NE 34 LA Rams 17

After these last few years with the kneeling, etc., I am totally done caring about the NFL. Haven’t watched a game all season, and won’t be starting now. [Insert Acts Pun Here]

Going on my second season without it. I don't miss it.

Also finishing up my second season without it and also do not miss it at all, despite being a huge fan of the game. When I want a football fix now, I go watch a local HS team.

I've not gotten desperate enough to watch soccer yet. Laughing

Definitely go watch some kids throwing the pigskin if you feel yourself getting ready to sink to soccer. Laughing

I wish they'd show more hurling here. I watched it in Ireland and thought it was great! A truly ancient sport that I think would appeal to Americans if they gave it a chance. Golf Cart Mafia Consigliere

I'd love to watch rugby.

I like Rugby too. I'd never seen hurling until I went to Ireland. Its a 4000 year old sport, its fast, its violent, its a lot like American football, soccer, Rugby, LaCrosse. Its probably the granddaddy of them all.

I only watched a couple games last season. Having been a Cowboys fan since childhood, it seemed to me that the Boys at least, were holding the line and not caving to the pressure to conform. In any case, I continued to increasingly lose interest as time went on. I liked playing soccer in PE as a kid, but never really found it that interesting to watch. Rugby or hurling does sound interesting. Really though, I have also tired of sports in general, especially professional sports, in recent years.

I probably watched no more than 4 quarters of NFL football all season. A few minutes here and there while chanel surfing is all. To me, it has become the new MLB, which I haven’t watched since the last strike. Whenever that was.
