If there was a wholesale roundup of illegal aliens... |

How many of your favorite restaurants would be open?
Would your trash service operate?
How big of an increase would there be for home improvement rates in your area? _________________ Doctor of Bovinamodulation |

Oh YES, this is a subject DEAR to my heart. Our leaders in their infinite wisdom left the borders open and we didn't fuss too much. Now we are in a pickle.
I am one citizen who cannot deny we need a path for citizenship for MANY of the people who are here illegally. Problem is some good folk will get hurt. The same government that allowed it will be to blame for the ones hurt. But BLAME has seldom helped or fixed a problem.
Our life would be affected, that is for danged sure with a wholesale deportation, and that doesn't even consider the cost! OUCH
I am not sure where you are, but down south our work force seems to be 80% Hispanic (legal and illegal).
I do respect the religious background and family values the majority of the Hispanic folk have and practice. _________________ Some facts but mostly just my opinion!

The focus is and will remain on the ones committing crimes. No ill effects will be felt from that. If a few people who "only committed voter fraud" are deported/imprisoned as well, that is just too bad, wish they hadn't done that to their families, and they can blame Obama and the dems for making them believe that there would be no consequences. |

Build a wall - get our immigration under control so we only let in who we want to let in - then work on getting the other folks "out of the shadows".
That is currently what Marco Rubio is in favor of. _________________ Whether you like it or not, learn to love it, because its the best thing going today! |

Nothing would change significantly. Don't let them fool you. _________________ "It is doubtful if any Trinitarian Pentecostals have ever professed to believe in three gods, and Oneness Pentecostals should not claim that they do." - Daniel Segraves UPCI |

Where I live.
A few restaurants would close.
That's about it. _________________ Charles A. Hutchins

Many churches would suffer. And I am sure some would lose good folk. This places a real dilemma, legally and spiritually. _________________ Some facts but mostly just my opinion!

I have lost allot of sympathy for Christians in the illegal community. Having been closely associated with them since 1998, I have found many horrible attitudes among them. They think no American laws should apply to them If someone goes to jail for driving without a license "it's not fair!!" If an illegal driving without insurance goes to jail for injuring an American's person or property" It's not fair!!". There is nothing but an entitlement mentality. _________________ "It is doubtful if any Trinitarian Pentecostals have ever professed to believe in three gods, and Oneness Pentecostals should not claim that they do." - Daniel Segraves UPCI |

why? does their Christianity not translate back to their home country? Can they not do as much good (or more) back home with the gospel that they've believed? I guess I speak of the big C Church rather than the local buildings. |

I am sure we travel in different circuits. I have met only one person who came close to that definition. He was not a Christian, and was an out and out thief. He was a talented carpenter, but a crook. I have had more US citizens fit that bill.
Every neighbor I have in Florida is Hispanic, most are legal, I am not sure about some, but they all respect the USA.
I just said, some churches would lose some good folk. Christians are good folk, in my opinion. _________________ Some facts but mostly just my opinion!

I have a friend whose did some contracting for houses in California. Many years ago, when he moved back to California, he was asking around about that business over there. He ended up becoming a city inspector instead.
But in his opinion, illegal aliens kept the housing sector going. They kept housing prices down.
He also said if you hired Mexicans to do construction, they worked hard. The contractor leaves the job site, and they keep working hard. That was hard to find. They were cheap and worked hard. (He didn't say whether they had to be illegal for that to be the case.) He'd hired other ethnicities and they wanted to start at some high dollar-per-hour rate with no skills. _________________ Link |

Their work ethic is truly amazing, but their kids end of being as lazy and worthless as any other American kids. _________________ "It is doubtful if any Trinitarian Pentecostals have ever professed to believe in three gods, and Oneness Pentecostals should not claim that they do." - Daniel Segraves UPCI |

I'm smiling. I am 78 years old and in the past 10-12 years I have met some fantastic teens and young people. Our kids, kids are exactly what we have made them.
I am POSITIVE that when I was 12-14 years old everyone over 40 thought me and the other crazy kids were headed for hell in a handbasket and going to take the rest of the USA down with them.... (didn't happen, yeah, I know this time is different!)
I think I have learned something for being deaf for 20 years, I learned to do without TV and TV news and look around me. Life is good. God is good and one day I will live in Heaven where I understand, Life is truly great. Until then I will love my neighbor as myself when I possibly can.
Love you bro and always appreciate your opinions, even when ours cross. I really mean that. If we thought a like it would be a little boring. _________________ Some facts but mostly just my opinion!

Most would rip us off any way they could without batting an eye, because such corruption is part of every day life in Mexico. _________________ "It is doubtful if any Trinitarian Pentecostals have ever professed to believe in three gods, and Oneness Pentecostals should not claim that they do." - Daniel Segraves UPCI |

I stand by my statement. Certainly there are some good kids. But the work ethic continues to plunge while the entitlement mentality soars. I have observed that children of immigrants do not share the work-ethic, by-in-large, of their parents. _________________ "It is doubtful if any Trinitarian Pentecostals have ever professed to believe in three gods, and Oneness Pentecostals should not claim that they do." - Daniel Segraves UPCI |
