I'm hoping one doesn't eat into the other's sales. Maybe they'll complement each other. That's possible. |
Ha! Every author's nightmare - you work on a book for two years and then someone else beats you to the punch and publishes a book on the same subject! _________________ Senior Pastor, Solid Rock Church, Drogheda

That has happened with dissertations when new datasets became available and two candidates in the same field asked the obvious questions based on previous literature, too.
It could just be the season to revisit this. Get your book out quickly. Two books being out on the same subject may not be a bad thing. One can feed interest in another. If yours is better written and gets some better Amazon reviews, it may do well. There were several books out on Bible Codes before the less spiritual Bible Code book that sold a lot of copies became successful. _________________ Link |
