Trump the republican |

Quote: | Trump said about abortion: "The laws are set. And I think we have to leave it that way." |
Leave it that way ? I wonder how his republican followers will interpret this?
Is this the republican view of abortion? Or maybe one should ask is trump a republican? Most con men get caught up with sooner or later.

I have heard numerous Republican candidates for various office say "Roe V Wade is established law". Why is Trump singled out for trashing?
The only candidate that had a plan to drastically curtail abortion was Ron Paul (back in 2012) yet he was given a failing grade by the right to life crowd.
There is no longer a judicial solution to end abortion. The only way to end it is to take it out from underneath the jurisdiction of the courts by a simple act of Congress, or by a Constitutional amendment. Yet do you see anyone in the GOP suggesting that? _________________ "It is doubtful if any Trinitarian Pentecostals have ever professed to believe in three gods, and Oneness Pentecostals should not claim that they do." - Daniel Segraves UPCI |

The slam was directed at the law , it was his last sentence.. "And I think we have to leave it that way." |

True Republican? |

Doubt it but his statement is in line with what they've done (not what they've said). At one point 5 of 9 Supreme Court justices appointed by Republican Presidents refused to overturn Roe Vs. Wade, so when the Republicans control the Supreme Court, that's what you get. So whether you are Dem or Rep - it seems like it is the law and both parties support it.
So yes, he is consistent with what the Republican Party has done - and I don't like it at all! |
