Have you ever had to come in and clean up... |

another pastors mess. We've all either had to do it or will probably eventually do it.
Don't you think it's the exact same way for an AB? _________________ Doctor of Bovinamodulation |

I'm smiling as I read this. I remember my dad quoting a pastor who always left a church with less attendance than when he arrived. Once he left, the church grew under the next pastor. Dad said he talked to his fellow pastor once and he said, "I have never torn a church down, it is my commission from God to clean out the dead wood so it can grow. The guy following me always gets the praise."
Dad had followed him once. And the church did indeed grow. _________________ Some facts but mostly just my opinion!

Nothing major, thankfully. The dirty little secret, is that every church deals with some level of dysfunction. The names and faces change but there is really nothing new under the sun. People often point to the early church as the pristine model to follow. But a quick survey of the epistles shows that the early Church was rife with doctrinal, moral, and relational dysfunction. |
