Post Things that will never happen... Aaron Scott
You'll never feel you treated your spouse as good as you could have.

You'll never feel like you spent enough time with your kids...or your parents.

Post And you'll never... Aaron Scott
You'll never feel like you got as close to, or did as much for, God as you would have wished.

When you get to Heaven, God will wipe all of your tears away and you will never experience a second of regret over what could have been.

You will never experience anything but satisfaction and joy for all of eternity, because of God's grace and what He has done for you.

YOU will never replace your best friend here on earth, once they pass from this life.
But you will think of him every day. It has been about ten years now.

But there is much more about a best friend. If you really have a best friend other than your wife or husband, cherish them.

You will also NEVER REGAIN YOUR YOUTH! (just sayin')

God will not keep people alive for eternity for the sole purpose of torturing them. Acts-pert Poster

Torture no, everlasting punishment... yes.

Either that or the following is a blatant lie.

Revelation 14:11 KJV — And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.

Call it what you will, it will in fact be for eternity.

Consider this: It did not say there would not be tears. It simply said that God would wipe them all away.

HOWEVER, let's leave heaven out of it for a minute. I'm thinking of how a person might feel on their deathbed.

Nah. If we're gonna talk about things that will never happen, I'm gonna talk about the good ones. Smile

The eternal fire from Sodom and Gomorrah is not still burning. Revelation is a highly symbolic book. Even so, hell will be cast into the lake of fire, which is the second death. The wages of son is death. John 3:16 gives us two choices and only two. Eternal life or perish. The clinching verse for me is Matthew 10:28....

And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

If you were being tortured for ever and ever and ever, why would you fear the one who can kill the soul in hell? Wouldn't welcome that? Of course, you would. But, this verse is not a hypothetical. It is actually what happens. God destroys both body and soul in hell when it is cast into the lake of fire, the second death.

I ask you to go to YouTube and watch my friend, Dr Edward Fudge explain it in many of his messages. He was a wonderful sweet man who grew up Church of Christ and came to this knowledge. I totally understand believing in something you were raised up believing. We all were. But, it is wrong. The bottom line is that we believed that the soul is eternal. If it is, hell cant be escaped. But the soul is not eternal. Only God is and gives us eternal life as believers. Nobody else gets it. So, I’m not going to respond to anymore posts about it, just ask you to please study it and Dr Fudge teaches it the way I believe it. We cannot live in peace throughout eternity knowing our children or Mom or Dad or anybody else is burning in torment.
