Believers, we are 100% righteous on the BASIS of faith!

Rom. 10:3 "For not knowing about God’s righteousness and seeking to establish their own, they did not subject themselves to the righteousness of God. 4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes."

Phil. 3:9 "and may be found in Him, not having a righteousness of my own derived from the Law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which comes from God on the basis of faith,"

The "righteousness of my own" (self-righteousness) which is derived from my success at keeping religious rules (the Law) is filthy rags. It's rubbish! Christ ended that whole Law system as means of gaining right-standing with God.

But the "righteousness which comes from God on the basis of faith" is perfect! It's "the righteousness of God" given to us as a free gift because we've shifted our confidence, our faith, off of us and onto Him!

Believers, you're 100% righteous. That's the new covenant truth.

When you don't see yourself as 100% righteous, you're still using your ability to keep religious rules or perform religious chores as the BASIS for your confidence toward God. That's an old covenant mindset.

Put your faith in Jesus, not you.

Let His work on the cross be the BASIS for your confidence toward God, not your work in the local church.

Pray, read, teach, attend, love, give, forgive, go, help and share.
But don't ever let your ability to do any of these things form the BASIS of your confidence toward God.
Don't ever let your failure to do any of these things shake your confidence toward God.

You don't save yourself.
You don't pay for blessings.
You don't pay for healing.

Jesus paid the price for all of that. ...and "it is finished"!

Believers, you're 100% righteous.

This means you are peace with God.
He is happy with you.
This means you can boldly come before His throne.

This doesn't mean He won't correct a wrong belief.
The "Father of spirits" will correct a wrong belief.
He corrects a wrong belief by giving you a right belief.
He wants your faith in Him, not you.
He wants you to know that your faith, not your performance, has made you 100% righteous.
He wants you to know that every blessing on the righteous is yours.
He wants you to know how He treats the righteous.

He wants you to enjoy the righteousness, peace and joy the kingdom of God provides. And it's His good pleasure for you to enjoy these.

BASE your confidence in Jesus.
What He did.
Who He is.
Who you are in Him.
Who He is in you.

Abandon your own life with its self-righteousness, self-confidence, self-consciousness and self-love.

Let Him be your Life, the Source of your righteousness, your confidence, your consciousness and your love. This is faith.
