CAN YOU SEE IT?

Paul prayed this prayer for the Ephesians:

"I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you will know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe." Eph. 1:18,19

1. Our hope (expectation of good) is the resurrection, the upward call, a new body (Rom. 8:22-25; 1 John 3:1-3).
2. Our inheritance is "in the saints". The kingdom is within us.
3. Believers have the "surpassing greatness of His power" available.

"These are in accordance with the working of the strength of His might which He brought about in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come." Eph. 1:19-21

All of "these" (1, 2 and 3) are ours "in Christ" and because God showed "the strength of His might" in the resurrection of Christ we celebrate this Sunday and hopefully, every day.

"And He put all things in subjection under His feet, and gave Him as head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all." Eph. 1:22

All things are "under His feet".
We are His body.
All things are under our feet.

I pray you see it. I pray you come to know it.
