The political discussions have already begun on this board and I thought it'd be fun to hold some polls and see who would win an election if voting today (well... and if Acts-celerate got to pick the next President  ). I'm going to hold the primaries and then on Friday will pit the two winners against each other in a General Election poll.
Please only vote in one party's primary, although you do not have to vote in the primary for the party in which you are really registered.
If you want to vote for someone that is not a Republican or Democrat, you may go to the Independent Nomination page and nominate someone. If anyone will "second" your nomination, I will also enter them into Friday's General Election.
Feel free to stump for your candidate but only in the thread that your candidate is registered with. For instance, you can support Giuliani in the Republican thread, but not in the Democratic or Independent thread.
